Boston Sightseeing is an exciting new company to New England that offers sightseeing tours to locals and tourists alike. We are looking for professional, experienced, and customer-focused Sightseeing Tour Guides to join our team. As a Boston Sightseeing Tour Guide, you will be responsible for leading our sightseeing tours to various destinations in Boston along the Freedom Trail, providing entertaining and informative commentary during the tour and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for our passengers.

Job Type: Full-time/Part-Time

Salary: $23 per hour + Tips

Responsibilities:

• Lead sightseeing tours to various destinations in Boston
• Provide informative and entertaining commentary during the tour, highlighting Boston’s landmarks, history, and culture
• Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers throughout the tour, following all traffic laws and company policies
• Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
• Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the tour bus
• Manage the timing of the tour to ensure all destinations are visited in a timely manner
• Handle any unexpected situations that may arise during the tour
• Follow all company policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 years of experience as a tour guide or similar position, training will be provided.
• Knowledge of Boston’s landmarks, history, and culture is required
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and composure
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
• Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of time
• Must pass a background check

As a Sightseeing Ticket Kiosk Agent, you will be responsible for selling tickets to our sightseeing tours, providing information about the tours and the company, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Sell tickets to our sightseeing tours at our ticket kiosk
• Provide information about the tours and the company to customers
• Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
• Ensure the ticket kiosk is clean and organized at all times
• Process ticket sales and cash transactions accurately
• Assist with promotional activities and marketing campaigns
• Follow all company policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service or sales position, training will be provided.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
• Comfortable with using technology, including point-of-sale systems and computers

We are looking for professional, experienced, and customer-focused Sightseeing Tour Bus Drivers to join our team. As a Sightseeing Tour Bus Driver, you will be responsible for driving our sightseeing tour buses to various destinations in Boston along the historic Freedom Trail.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a sightseeing tour bus to transport passengers to various destinations in Boston.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers throughout the tour, following all traffic laws and company policies
• Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the tour bus
• Perform routine vehicle checks to ensure proper maintenance and report any issues to the maintenance team
• Follow all company policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with passenger endorsement
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a bus driver or similar position
• Knowledge of Boston’s landmarks, history, and culture is a plus
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and composure
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
• Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of time
• Must pass a background check and drug test
